Happy Friday Everyone!

I wanted to share with you some chairs I’ve been loving. These chairs have been all the hype since the very minute we placed them in Tracery!

I love every detail of this pair of Lee Industries chairs. I love that the back is completely different than the fabric you see in the front. Details like this go such a long way!

Revisit: 2012 Southern Living Idea House

Hi all! We are working on our website so I have been going through lots of photos of past projects. I found some photos that we had not shared with all of you and we wanted to share. We had so much fun designing this home. The team was so much fun and was so talented which made the project that much better. I will have a few more posts like this as I find more photos to share with all of you.

This beautiful painting is by artist Mallory Page. The painting  paired with an antique chest and a collection of white serving pieces we found at antique shops and flea markets were just the perfect addition to the master bedroom.

This little detail appeared in the main stair hall.  I loved this trophy collection so much it now resides in my own living room.  The dear painting by a local 30A artist Justin Gaffrey was the perfect touch above the antique white chest we found at Scott’s Antique Market.

One of the other small items I kept after the house was complete.  This funny little dog.  Someone along the way broke his leg and glued it back on.  He added the perfect bit of southern character to the coffee table.  He now lives on my desk at the Tracery studio.

All photos by Laurie Glenn of Southern Living.

Everyone have a great weekend!

Before and After the entire home….

Hi Paige here!  AK and I finished a condo in Rosemary and we have shown you a few before and afters but here is the full reveal!  We had so much fun with our friend Sean and Byron creating their perfect beach getaway.

Now time for the after.  I love a before and after…. don’t you?

The martini is fake btw!

Before and after part 2 living room

Happy Friday everyone!  We all love a good before and after.  This is a condo redo that we completed for our clients (and friends) Sean and Byron.  You have seen the coffee table before here and the dining room before here.  This is great place to show what paint and new furnishings  can really update a place.  We did not do any hardcore costruction but the difference is unbelievable.  The condo had been a rental before and needed some updating and to make it a home for Sean and Byron (and of course Sophie and Bosley their two adorable dogs).  Well… let the photos speak for themselves.

The living room before
Living room after

The little seating group of twochairs functions as a small keeping room.  We love the commissioned painting from Allison Wickey.  Isn’t it great!?!

We hope you enjoyed a look around!  Have a great weekend!

The Inspiration Home… Photo shoot time!

Today the photo shoot began for the Birmingham Home and Garden Inspiration Home. The team is great… From Tracery Doug, Hannon and I have been adding the finishing touches while Jean (the photographer) and her assistant Matt started shooting and last but definitely least… Cathy the editor who does everything needed to make it perfect. Want to see a few fun shots? You will have to wait for the final photos but we can share this part.

Cathy and Doug dusting the hood!  Love this group!

Drapery install in the guest bedroom.  We LOVE Willie!

Glass of wine…. ahhhhhh…..

My baby sister Maggie stopped by just in time for a tour and a glass of wine.  Love you Mags D!

To end the night a little mexican food.  It was needed and totally delish!

The house opens for tours next month! Then it will be a feature in the magazine! We will let you know when everything happens!
