At Tracery we love to create relaxing spaces where you can sit back and enjoy the great outdoors. No matter where your home is located, we think it’s important to enjoy the comfort of your home outdoors. Here are a few of our favorite outdoor spaces, let us help you create your own!
Hope you all had a great Memorial day!
We have some fun new pieces in our Rosemary shop. Take a look! The headboards are custom and we just love them!
We have been working on some Tracery products for a while. We are so excited to share it with our blog friends! Here are our first pillows in our custom pillow line. We will roll out all the pillows in the stores and we will have on line as well for our long distant friends. I hope you like what you see! The pillows are 22″x22″ with down fills and are $150 each.
The pillows are burlap!
I am going to add some to my home!
OK.... so when using my front porch as staging for a photo shoot you sometimes get a visitor. But how cute is Lucy.....I admit I am a little biased!
I hope everyone likes our new pillows!
I hope you enjoy the first look at our new pillow line! There are more to come so stay tuned! Have a great week!
We’re excited to announce that a new batch of our Theory by Tracery stools are now available for purchase. Theory is our signature furniture line, each year we have a very limited quantity of these pieces hand-crafted by local artisans from antique materials. The designs are our own and these pieces sell very quickly each time we have them available. We have just received eight Theory Stool and have them in our Birmingham office at the moment. They’ll soon be traveling to our shop at Rosemary Beach but we thought we’d go ahead and offer them for sale while they’re in Birmingham. All eight of these beautiful stools are crafted from a single reclaimed timber, the tops are sanded and waxed and the sides are left raw.
Theory Stools obviously make great occasional seating. They are 20″ high (chair height) and about 12″ square. These pieces also work well as side tables or simply as sculptural elements in a space.
No two stools are exactly alike, but as you can see the heights are consistent so they can easily be used in groupings. These stools retail for $750 each. They are available for a limited time in our Birmingham office and we can also bring a few over to Atlanta next week. After that the stools are headed to our shop and as we said, they’ll go very fast and may not be available again this year.
If you’re interested in a Theory Stool (or 2, or 4!) let us know ASAP, e-mail shop [at] traceryinteriors [dot] com or call us at (850)231-6755.
We’ve already showed you a few pieces from our exclusive line of furnishings, Theory by Tracery, but while going through some portfolio images this weekend we found some more pictures we should have included the first time! When we furnished a model home for Alys Beach last year, we used a few pieces from the Theory collection.
In the Living Room, two Theory Stools sit on either side of a linen slipcovered sofa. The Stools can be used as durable drink tables (no need for a coaster on an aged piece of antique oak) or can be impromptu seating for a large group. While we’re looking at this room, notice the pair of paintings by artist Courtney Garrett and the custom laser cut steel panel designed by our sister company G: Branding & Design (more on that piece in an upcoming post).
In one of the bedrooms, we placed the Theory Bench at the foot of a bed.
We love the way the antique oak bench blends with the clear sealed cypress wall behind the bed.
Remember Theory pieces are available only through Tracery — we’re about to have another edition of these pieces made so if you are interested contact our shop to place an order.
Theory by Tracery is our exclusive line of furniture, developed by our designers and hand-built in limited edition quantities by local craftspeople. We’re in the process of adding some great new items to our collection, but before those debut we wanted to introduce you to the original pieces from the Theory collection.
The Theory Bench is crafted from three solid pieces of antique oak. The slabs are puzzle-pieced together at the corners and the bottoms of the legs are slightly notched out. The beautiful quality of the knots, cracks and expressed grain is evident all over the piece–but it’s been highly sanded and is very smooth to the touch. The Theory Bench is available only through Tracery and retails for $1500.

The Theory Stool is crafted from antique oak beams reclaimed from old buildings. No two Theory Stools are the same in character–the two shown above have unique nail holes, scratches and cracks and occasionally (like the one on the left), a Theory Stool will have a mortise hole where another beam used to intersect. The tops are sanded smooth and scooped for comfort. Theory Stools generally retail for around $775, but prices vary slightly due to the unique nature of the pieces.

These Theory pieces are available in limited quantities — please contact our shop if you are interested in reserving a piece from the next limited edition run.
