Here is the second post of our new before and after series. Remember the 2012 Southern Living Idea House we designed? I just received some of the before photos from our friends over at Historical Concepts. Historical Concepts was the architect for this renovation addition along with John Bynum Homes. This project has so many moments it will have to have a second post. Here are a few of my favorite moments in the project.

We have had some great before and afters over time. I just got the new issue of Birmingham Home and Garden in the mail and it features one of our more recent renovations. We LOVE a renovation. So it made me think. We should share more of these. The challenges in a remodel can lead to some really amazing outcomes. So this is the first of our before and after series
Here is the first page of the story. Pick up your copy today!
And stay tuned for our series…

Just a little Friday happy for you! Flash back to our 2012 Southern Living Idea House. Classic never goes out of style.
To wrap up the tour of our Chapel Hill design we have all the other rooms in the home. I could not think of an overriding theme so there you go… Just photos! Enjoy!
P.S. The striped fabric at the reading nook is our custom fabric: Fluting in color: Citron. It is available as premade drapes, pillows and by the yard!
Every time I look at the photos of this home I reminded how much I love it. In this post let’s focus on the master bedroom. In master bedrooms we design them to be serene retreats. When you have an active household like this family a retreat becomes a very special place. In this room we mixed whites, silvers, light steel blue, lucite and leather. We also really wanted the art to become a statement which it is in this soft space.
Until next time…
Happy Labor Day! To celebrate “labor” we have 25% off! We are open 10am -5pm 7 days a week in our Inlet Beach and Rosemary Beach shops. Come see us!
