Hi Y’all, we had a very exciting visitor in our Rosemary Beach, FL shop the other day-the sweetly southern, yeast roll extraordinaire, Sister Schubert herself! Her cookbook, ‘Cast Your Bread Upon the Waters’, features 5 generations of her family’s favorite recipes. While in the shop she shared a few recipes with a fan. Turns out one of her favorite recipes from the book is her mother’s Whipped Cream Pound Cake served with her great-grandmother’s Fudge Sauce. That sounds divine! I have to admit that we are all big fans of Sister’s rolls and are chomping at the bit to dive head first in to her cookbook. Lucky for all of you Sister oh so graciously signed all of the books in our first shipment. What a great gift idea! Ive been meaning to try my hand at Tomato Pie this Summer. I do believe Sister’s cookbook has the perfect recipe! Ill let you know how it turns out. Hope everyone has a great day!
