The cover of this book couldn’t be any more inviting. It’s colorful, fun palette beckons the reader to open it! I’d have to say, that as amount girl To Kill A Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, is my all time favorite book. It was this book that taught an active, outdoorsy girl that she could actually enjoy sitting still, long enough to enjoy reading. And I enjoy it until this day.

I love looking through the Coming Home book by Historical Concepts for a coffee table book, I find myself flipping through it often! Of course the Bible is the book of all books. When I think of books, I also think of my favorite children’s book, Peach and Blue which has the most amazing illustrations! Okay okay – you said one book! I’d love to have a copy of the Tracery book also!

My favorite book as a young boy was Tobacco Road…It tells the hardships of picking cotton in Southern Alabama. I read this as a young boy in Scotland, and now 47 years later I met and fell in love with a Alabama girl who farms cotton…. I saved her from the next crop…… Thinking about my own novel… “Jane and The Cotton Mill.”
