Texture

One of the most important aspects of design. Period. Texture adds beauty and life to designs. Only if you are creating an ultra modern home is no texture good. Have you ever been to a house with Sheetrock walls and nice furniture but it didn’t feel good? A home where your friend (or family member) selected pieces that work with the home but something is missing… Many times it is texture. Texture can come in wall material, flooring, fabrics and furniture. Especially if you are using a neutral color scheme texture is VERY important. Here are some photos I have taken lately to inspire more texture in your home.
