Hi all! We along with other designers and businesses along 30A have decorated trees that are up for auction with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the Seaside Repertory Theater. When you are on 30A during the spring and summer you can see our theater perform shows in all our communities. They also volunteer in all our schools with our students teaching theater. So if you love a tree it goes to a great cause.
We decided on a scheme using white, grey, black, silver, and glitter. (What is Christmas without glitter?). We decided to use a white tree as our base. Layered three kinds of lights and the ornaments and garland. Then we added the tree topper with a beautiful glitter snowflake/star surrounded by white feathers!
If you are interested in bidding on the tree you can like the FB page for the Seaside Repetory Theatre and there is online bidding until 9:30 tonight! The trees are delivered by fox delivery tomorrow in the 30A area and then if you are out of town we will ship you all the trees and decorations. The winners will be announced at the event and on FB.
Here is our tree!
I wrapped up a little Christmas decorating for our friend, Stephanie, over at www.southernfashionhouse.com yesterday and it was too fun not to share with you!
I got an early start, cranked up the holiday music, and got to work on this fun little project. Antique glass ornaments, glittery deer and pinecones, burlap, and oh,…just a few antlers.
For all you southerners and outdoorsmen….I think you might like this!
I hope you’re enjoying your Christmas decorating too!
It is that time of year! Many times we decorate homes for Christmas for our clients. The home we recently finished for a family in Nashville was so much fun to decorate for Christmas. My friend and professional writer and stylist, Lynn Nesmith, went with me. You might know her from her books 30A Style and Seaside Style. Out other Christmas elves were Brady of Fry Construction and Larry… We could not have completed Christmas decorating without them.
Here are a couple photos to get you in the holiday spirit! So let’s start in the beginning with lots of wreaths, trees, garland, and ornaments!
Oh and we are some hot chicken to give us energy!
Then we made Christmas happen. (Insert your favorite holiday song here)
The living room tree at night.
And during the day.
I love the black and white striped ribbon.
The upstairs tree and the construction paper chain is so much fun. We love simple classic decorations.
We are getting really excited about the holidays. We hope you had a great Thanksgiving. I had 34 people at our home. We had lots of food and a great time with our friends and family.
