  1. Beautiful! My resolution is to be more “in the moment”. To appreciate things as they are happening and not take them for granted.

  2. To not overlook Alabama as a travel destination. We’re always leaving town — leaving the state, really — on the weekends, and this year I want to stick around more to take advantage of Alabama’s natural wonders like Little River Canyon and unique small towns like Fair Hope and Eufaula.

  3. I hope to get my house ready (cozy and comfy) for our newest addition coming in May! Maybe, figure out someway to corral his big brother’s toys that seem to have taken over?

  4. My New Years resolution is to work on turning my house into a home. I’ve purchased some ‘core’ pieces of furniture, but need things to warm it up… the throw would be a great start!

  5. My resolution for the New Year is to finish college. I am a 51 year old mother and grandmother. I have always wanted a college degree. I will hopefully graduate from Marymount University this coming year with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. Dreams can come true if you want them bad enough. I will do this in 2013!

  6. I have 2. To eat less sugar…and to do more fun things. Make each week count. Explore my city more and just hang out and do stuff.

  7. My New Years resolution is to embrace every moment, whether good or bad. I’ve incorporated this philosophy into my life this year and I’ve noticed profound changes. Next year, I will continue to count all things as blessings.

  8. Spend more meaningful time with my three girls. My oldest is heading off to college in the fall and on to her next big adventure!

  9. I plan to take a moment each day to remember how blessed I really am . Life is so precious and I plan to appreciate everything I have been given .

  10. My New Years resolution is to spend more time visiting my parents. My father will be 95 in a month and I know our time together is valuable and probably limited!
Also I am working on a scrapbook about his life and there are stories still left to be recorded! Happy holidays to everyone at Tracery!

  11. My resolution is to recognize the “idols” in my life, those things that take me farther away from God’s purpose for me. Hopefully this will make life less hectic and more God-centered. I also want to do lots of family things while my kids are at those ages where they still want their father and me around!

  12. My resolution is to be stricter with my budget… not to holler about the small things … walk more with my little ones… and not to complain how cold I am when my babies want to play longer in the snow…

    • 1. To replace the crap TV shows that I watch with a wonderfully scripted show. As in, less Keeping Up With The Kardashians and more Homeland.
      2. Tell someone I love that I love them on a weekly basis. Via phone or in person. Not by text or email.

  13. My resolution is to be more intentional with my family. Try to get my e-mailing and phone calls done while they are gone during the day and as soon as they walk in the door, focusing on them. Oh iPhone, you distract me so!

  14. Spend more time with my children. In light of the shootings in Newtown, it’s important to realize each day we are given is a GIFT! We should cherish it and count our many blessings.

  15. My resolution is to read more. I’d like to snuggle up with this blanket, my new Kindle, and maybe some wine! Cheer to 2013!

  16. My New Year’s resolution is to be the best mom I can be to my daughter..who is due in January! It’s going to be an exciting adventure that my husband and I can’t wait for!

  17. My new year’s resolution is to remember to always look for the joy in everything! This will be especially important as we bring home our adopted son in the spring!

  18. In 2013, I resolve to update my two oldest daughters’ now empty bedrooms, as they have spread their wings and gone to college. Hopefully, as the third and fourth daughters follow big sisters’ steps, our home will continue to be a loving haven for sisters’ return visits, as we’ll as a warm and welcome place for guests.

  19. My resolution is to be GRATEFUL for each & everyday. I always appreciate the New Year, but after health scares for my father & myself in 2012 … I am going into the New Year with much more gratitude & love !!
Ready to Ring in the New Year and stay in the moments.

  20. my 2013 resolution is to refocus on family. Life gets busy and I don’t want to forget what is most important. Thanks for sharing such a generous giveaway.
