Looking forward and looking back…. Southern Living Idea Houses

We are sooooo excited about the 2012 Southern Living Idea House which is open to the public now for tours.  Visit Southern Living’s website for more info on tour dates and time.  The house will be featured in the August issue of the Southern Living magazine.  We will let you know when it is released.  Here a few detail shots from around the house.  We can’t wait for you to see the entire house.

These are our pillows that are made from our custom line of fabric.  The pillow on the right is a mitered stripe fabric named fluting color driftwood.  In the photo you can see a peak at the white chesterfield sofa.

Theseare custom shadow boxes we designed to display the collection of antique keys we found while out looking for vintage and antique pieces for the home.

He is just to cute for words.  I think he needs a name…. maybe Ned.

Now for looking back….

In 2009 we designed the Idea House for Southern Living in Cinnamon Shore which is located in Port Aransas, Texas.  We had a great time and loved working with the Southern Living team so we were excited to come back in 2012.  In case you weren’t following us back then here are a few of our favorite shots from the 2009 Southern Living Idea House.

And this photo we have seen crop up all out there in blogland and pinterest.  We STILL love the saffron barn door.  Don’t you?
