Tracery Tips Our favorite Greens

Green is our next segment of our favorite colors.  Our favorite neutrals and blues are found here and here.  Throughout our designs we use green in many different ways.  We have selected green for exteriors of homes, rooms in homes, to using green pillows to add just a touch of color to a room.  Green has so many shades from bold to subtle.  From  true green to grey/green and everywhere in between their is a green for everyone.  Green stands the test of time.  It is great in traditional and more modern homes.  So without further adieu…. greens…..

Benjamin Moore  Hollingsworth Green  This is a great subtle green.  We have selected this color for bedrooms and bathrooms several times.  We have also used it on the exterior of a home in Watercolor.

Benjamin Moore Prescott Green Another great subtle green.  We have used this on kitchen cabinets with a dark umber glaze.  It is a great color!

For a subtle blue/green our favorite is Restoration Hardware Silver Sage.  We just finished a home where we used this color on the windows and doors.

  1. What about tips for what to do with rooms that are two stories or rooms with 8 ft ceilings….like design challenges? Angled roofs, rooms with little natural light, etc. Love the greens! My favorite is Georgian Green.
