Bathtubs can be beautiful and make a bathroom. Waterworks and Urban Archeology have some of our favorites. This tub was just featured in Birmingham Home and Garden’s “10 Years of Timeless Classics”.
Here a few more photos of the bathroom. The barn wood contrasting with the white carrara marble and the beautiful fixtures is one of my favorite design elements. This home is all about juxtaposition of materials and this bathroom exemplifies that . When we are designing rooms like this in second homes for our clients we always try to create a relaxing atmosphere. At the end of the week when you arrive at your lake house for the weekend… relaxation is always the word of day. Here we tried to create that in the guest bath.
Happy Monday all!
XO,
Paige

Beautifully simple. Good you don’t have to dust under it! I have a footed one and it’s a pain to get under. Love the drapes.
